Frank, Food & Me

Frank, Food and Me is a culmination of Frank, me, and the people that have shared their culture, recipes and lives with us. It is a hub of food and its amazing producers, information and baking, with values firmly placed on local and sustainably produced. We believe food discovery starts with your grandies!

About

Frank, food and me
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Creates cakes and baked goodies from local sustainable food sources. We celebrate small scale salt-of- the-earth farmers and their heritage. These are cakes with a conscience, aimed at promoting and supporting local growers, whilst also celebrating food heritage. The scent of freshly baked cakes transports us immediately; 8 years old licking the wooden spoon in our grandmother’s kitchen...but sadly many us forgot to ask her for that true family recipe, and generations of trial and error was buried. Frank, food and me aims to rekindle the culture of handing down food tradition. All the while we are keeping the connection with our grandie’s alive by creating exceptionally wholesome cakes from exceptional quality local and organic ingredients. So when you go to your local Farmers Market, you know that we are working with the fellows that are there each week ensuring your future food security. So while Frank, Food and Me take their big ceramic mixing bowl, throw in some local farmers, their stories and sustainable produce, and some tried and true Australian Grandmother’s recipes, all we ask of you ...is to have your cake and know that you can very happily eat it too.
